L’Academy of Interactive Arts and Sciences, organismo equivalente alla Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences che ogni anno organizza la cerimonia degli Oscar a Los Angeles, ha comunicato le nomination dei videogiochi per il 2005 e le sorprese non sono mancate!
Chi si aspettava un vasto riscontro per God of War non poteva infatti prevedere il plebiscito guadagnato dal titolone pubblicato da Sony America che con 11 nomination sembra aver messo d’accordo tutti su quale sia stato il miglior gioco dell’anno appena concluso, mentre è incredibilmente secondo nella classifica dei possibili vincitori come Gioco dell’Anno il nuovo divertentissimo Guitar Hero.
Da notare la stranissima assenza di Resident Evil 4 dal gruppo dei “nominati”, l’indiscusso capolavoro di Capcom, che malgrado sia stato accolto da critica e pubblico in modo entusiasta non è stato in grado di raggranellare nemmeno una nomination da parte della prestigiosa associazione.
